Beach Park Family Dental Practice has been serving the community for over 30 years by three generations of reputable dentists.
Our goal is to deliver the best service possible in a warm and caring environment. We encourage any questions and comments you may have about how we may help you with your dental care. We will continue to communicate with you during the course of your dental treatment to ensure that everything is working toward your best interests. Our doctors and team want to do everything possible to make your visits pleasant and informative
In early 2011, a former associate, Dr. Myriam Tawfik purchased the practice. As of 2012, the practice relocated to a brand new office equipped with state-of-the-art and environmentally friendly technology. Everything is designed with your comfort, health, and time in mind; from the use of digital X-Rays with minimized radiation to new dental chairs with ergonomic design and massage technology. We have an unwavering commitment to improve our service and to strive for excellence in patient care for years to come. We provide care to both adults and children.

Cosmetic Dentistry
It is our goal to make sure your teeth look as perfect as possible. Whether you have tooth decay, enamel loss, or poor tooth alignment our mission is to help give you the best smile possible.
Emergency Dental Care
If you have an emergency, our team will go out of their way to accommodate you and treat the problem as it arises further preventing tooth damage and physical pain.
Invisalign
Invisible braces! Thanks to new advancements in dentistry we can offer a form teeth alignment that accomplishes the same goal as traditional braces. We mold a clear retainer to the shape of your teeth to help align them over time.
Periodontal treatment
A healthy smile doesn’t only consist of pearly white teeth. Healthy gums are essential to a great smile and overall dental health. Our goal is to treat prevent gum infection, so your oral health is excellent.
Implant Restorations
Missing a tooth or multiple teeth and don’t want to use a removable appliance or denture? An implant would be the way to go. You can get an Implant (a screw that goes into the bone to replace the missing roots) and we will fabricate a beautiful natural looking crown that would look and feel like your own teeth.
Nightguards
We also specialize in nightguards. Nightguards help prevent one from grinding their teeth as they sleep. Teeth grinding can lead to tooth damage, gum damage, as well as affect the overall appearance and function of teeth.
Our Team
Dr. Myriam Tawfik
Doctor
Dr. Tawfik received her D.D.S. degree with Honors from Cairo University Dental School in 1990. She received extensive additional training in dentistry at the University of the Pacific and UCLA. She has been practicing in the Bay Area for over 20 years. Dr. Tawfik is fluent in French and Arabic. She loves cosmetic dentistry and working with kids. As a resident of Foster City since 1998, Dr. Tawfik and her family are truly embedded in this community which they love and care for. She enjoys spending time with her loving husband and three sons by traveling and watching soccer. Dr. Tawfik has a true passion for helping her patients attain the best smile possible.
Dr. Joo Hyun (June) Lee
Doctor
Dr. Lee received her DDS degree at the NYU College of Dentistry, then further advanced her clinical and didactic training by completing a general practice dental residency at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine/Cambridge Health Alliance. Dr. Lee has a strong clinical background with experience in community health, hospital-based dentistry, and dental education. Even before dental school, she was passionate about patient safety initiatives and has research experience working on projects in dental patient safety and mitigating dental adverse events. Dr. Lee is passionate about patient-centered care, blending clinical excellence with aesthetic outcomes, and serving the community. In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She loves sunny days in the peninsula and is delighted to be a part of the Beach Park Family Dental team.
Somaly Bunband
Hygienist
Somaly has been working in dentistry for over a decade. Her enthusiasm for dental health and overall health started at a young age. Somaly was motivated to pursue a career in dental hygiene. In 2013, she graduated from San Joaquin Valley College with a dental hygiene degree, and since then she has further enjoyed helping patients obtain and maintain a healthy and beautiful smile. She is happy to be part of the Beach Park Family Dental team, where all share the same high standard of quality patient care. Outside of work, some of Somaly’s biggest inspirations in life are her family, significant other, their cuddly cat, music, art, food, and the great outdoors.
Dina Koutoulas
Hygienist
Dina Koutoulas, RDH, BS, has over 17 years of experience in dental hygiene and is known for her patient-focused approach and gentle care. She earned her degree from the University of Southern California in 2009, where she received the Patient Education Award for her excellence in patient communication. She has spent more than 14 years working with and teaching alongside Anna Pattison, a leading expert in Advanced Periodontal Instrumentation, gaining extensive experience in advanced periodontal techniques. A Bay Area native, Dina is a proud first-generation Greek American who values connection, community, and helping patients feel at ease. She is passionate about educating her patients and making every visit a comfortable experience. Outside of dentistry, Dina enjoys traveling, staying current with continuing education, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
